Peak Power Systems was founded in 1998 by Bob Mitchell in Naperville, Illinois. Growing up in the western suburbs, Bob understood firsthand the challenges of severe winter storms and power outages that affect Chicagoland communities. He started the business with a clear mission: help suburban families protect their homes with reliable backup power.

What began as a one-man operation has grown into a respected family business. Today, Bob works side-by-side with his son Tyler Mitchell, passing down over 25 years of generator expertise. Together, they've installed over 1,200 whole home standby generators throughout Western Chicagoland.
